This year VFTS (VLT-FLAMES TaranTula Survey) 2024 meeting took place on Sep 16-18, in Madrid (Spain). That was another great opportunity for our PhD students to communicate their results and receive valuable feedback from some of the world experts in the field.
In particular Gonzalo (Munoz-Sanchez) presented “Episodic mass loss discovered in two extreme RSG in the LMC” while Kostas (Antoniadis) “Establishing a mass-loss rate relation for Red Supergiants”.

Last, but not least, this particular meeting was a unique opportunity for a (partly) reunion of ASSESS members and other colleagues, such as Frank Tramper, Stephan de Wit, and Nikolay Britavskiy.
