A few weeks ago (May 14, 2024), Stefan successfully defended his PhD thesis entitled “Physical parameters of red supergiants in nearby galaxies” which summarized his work over the last four years within the ASSESS project. This has resulted already in two major publications as first author (one published, one accepted) and another 6 papers as co-author! So Stephan did no less than absolutely nailing what he has achieved so far and what he is preparing for the near future!
