Contributing to the 2023 VFTS meeting

The 2023 version of the VFTS meeting was held in Max Planck Institute for Astrophysics in Garching for three days in March (27-29). Like last year’s meeting the ASSESS team was there to discuss our recent findings. This time though the representation was broader with more members of the group traveling there.

Stephan de Wit discussed the latest results on “Temperatures of RSG in nearby galaxies“, Kostas Antoniadis talked about “Mass loss rates of RSG in the LMC (and NGC 6822)“, and Gonzalo Munoz-Santsez presented particular interesting information about “A luminous RSG in the LMC with a bow shock?“. Evangelia Christodoulou had a poster on our most recent results from “Near Infrared Spectroscopy of red supergiants in NGC 6822, IC 10 & WLM with EMIR” (poster).
