The ASSESS team is joining the IAUS 366 “On the Origin of Outflows in Evolved Stars”, organized virtually from Nov 1-5.
Alceste will give an overview (Wednesday, Nov. 3, @12:20 UTC) of the ASSESS project followed by the advance we have achieved over the last years, as first results are coming out slowly. Grigoris is contributing a poster with the results of the machine-learning classifier which has been developed to detect evolved massive stars in nearby galaxies (and recently submitted to A&A).
